Crowdburn is a metal band from Umeå in northern Sweden. Not afraid of crossing genre boundaries, this five-piece mixes everything from thrash/death metal, rock and punk to ambient and acoustic music, delivering a progressive layer of fast, slamming and brutal metal riddled with soaring and haunting melodies. The band is also famous for their energetic live performances and critically acclaimed music videos.

Formed in late 2010, they have kept a fast pace. Having already played at big Nordic festivals like House of Metal, reached the finals in Swedish radio station Bandit Radio's competition and made it to UK magazine Metal Hammer's 'New Guard' CD with the 15 hottest new metal bands, the band is now ready to release their debut album 'Ignition'.
